Booth Commercial’s comprehensive product portfolio includes thermally insulated and fire, security and sound reducing doors, manufactured to the ISO9001 standard.

All Booth Commercial doors are custom-sized to suit the client’s structural opening requirements.

Three basic door leaf cores are used in composite sheet steel constructions:

• TYPE A - Industry standard, bonded honeycomb core, flush edge, (‘hollow metal’) for fire resistance applications up to 240 minutes integrity in both latched, latch-less and double swing configurations
• TYPE B - Mineral wool and inert fibre board core, rebated edge, insulated for sound reducing, thermal insulation and security applications
• TYPE C - Cores of special steels, timber and fibre board for resistance to high level physical attack, blast and ballistic applications

Leaves are hung with heavy duty stainless steel hinges in single and double rebate, bolt-fix frames.

BOOTH-EXT. An external enveloping door (TYPE B Leaf)

Designed for external access and fire escape in industrial units, distribution centres, back-of retail buildings, leisure centres, etc. The BOOTH-EXT door has a rebated edge leaf which sits in a recessed frame to provide enhanced anti-jemmy protection. It has achieved a U value of 1.9 W/m²K when tested to EN12567-1 which meets the requirements of Building Regulations Approved Document L2: 2002 for doors & windows.

The BOOTH-EXT door is sold exclusively through a national network of industrial door companies - the Trade.

BOOTH-FD. An un-insulated fire door (TYPE A Leaf)

A fire resistant door tested to BS476 and EN1634-1 test standards for periods up to 240 minutes integrity in a comprehensive range of latched, latch-less and double swing configurations

BOOTH-FDi. An insulated fire door (TYPE B Leaf)

An integrity and insulation, fire resistant door tested to DIN4102 and EN1634-1 test standards for periods up to 120 minutes integrity (E) and 60 minutes insulation (I²).

BOOTH-SC ENV. A range of security doors (TYPES B & C Leaves)

Both fire rated and non-fire rated doors tested to British and European security test standards:

• ENV1627 Grades 2-4
• LPS1175 Grades 3 & 4
• SEAP 3
• SEAP 4

Both fire and non-fire rated doors tested to acoustic test standard ISO 140-3 and rated according to ISO 717-1 from Rw 40 - 55dB.
