EDS-ISG Data CentreIn 2009 Booth Commercial carried out a £1M contract to supply and install BOOTH-FD fire doors in the UK’s first low energy data centre.
Booth Commercial was awarded a contract by contractors Interior Service Group PLC (ISG), to supply and install 60 minute and 120 minute coated and stainless steel fire doors with electrical locking and monitoring systems installed by Frontline Security Services who worked closely alongside Booth Commercial at the design and installation stages. Booth Commercial supplied their new FD fire doors which has been developed and tested in an 18 month programme with their strategic manufacturing partner Teckentrup GmbH in Germany on a fully automated assembly line. Paul Pompilli, ISG Project Director said: “Booth Commercial has met and exceeded what was expected of them, so much so that we awarded the company trade contractor of the month in July. I look forward to working with them in the future on further schemes.” |
