Booth was awarded the contract to supply bespoke and commercial steel doors for the landmark Thameslink Box Fit Out development at St Pancras.



Booth supplied 125 steel fire doors for the Box, including a pair of stainless steel leaves between the lift lobby and the main platform lobby, each measuring 2m by 3m and weighing half a tonne; 100 back-of-house painted and 24 brushed stainless steel front-of-house, commercial grade doors.

 

''The initial contract was worth £150,000. Rail Link Engineering, who managed the project, increased the scope of the contract by a further £450,000 of when they saw the product depth and, in particular, large project management capabilities Booth Industries are able to provide.
