Fire Door Leaves
Two basic leaf constructions are used in the manufacture of the Booth Commercial range of steel doors:
Type A
Flush or rebated edge with bonded honeycomb paper core selected for its compression and torsional performance.
Honeycomb cores, which are ideal for fire resistant doors, have been successfully tested in a number of latched and latch-less configurations, for up 260* minutes integrity to BS EN1634-1
* Overrun time for extended application

Rebated edge with mineral fibre and inert board cores selected for their insulation performance.
Insulated cores are used for thermal and fire insulation performance and in high attenuation acoustic doors
Door Frames
A variety of single and double rebate profile frames are available as standard in reveal fix, corner and wrap-around designs. Purpose designed frames to suit project specific, special applications can also be provided. Standard profile details can be found in Product Datasheet PD06 (see Frames Section)
Door Vision Panels
Eight rectangular and circular vision panels are available as standard. Single double and triple glazed units can be supplied tested in BOOTH-FD doors for up to 240 minutes fire integrity
Door Thresholds and Seals
Low profile aluminium and steel thresholds plus a variety of compression and drop seals for weather, smoke, acoustic and airtight applications can be provided
