Booth Industries join forces with SchucoSteel door manufacturer Booth Industries has joined forces with one of the world leaders in energy efficient products. The Bolton based company has partnered with Schuco a world leader in solar and façade technology which employs over 5,000 globally. Booth Industries is part of the Redhall Group plc, has three operating divisions and a turnover of £20 million. Its business is centred around designing and supplying performance-certified blast and high-security doors for defence projects and power companies, commercial doors for a range of new-build projects such as art galleries, railway stations and airports, and bespoke high-value large doors generally. The firm decided to partner with Schuco after Director Barry Gregson was introduced to the company by Teckentrup GmbH, Europe's third largest steel producer and a strategic partner of Booth Industries. Schuco UK's parent company – Schuco International KG – and Teckentrup are both based in Bielefeld, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. Barry Gregson said: "This partnership is could have a huge impact for Booth Industries, fueling growth at the firm, helping us expand operations and creating new jobs in the Bolton area. "The partnership began because I was looking to add a range of glazed steel fire doors, screens and fire rated products to our commercial door portfolio and was really impressed by Schuco fire and security offering. I could see the value in linking up with them to offer a far wider product range and through our close working relationship we are pooling resources to extend our client base, which could have a large impact our business." |
