Designed for both internal and external use on commercial, industrial and infrastructure projects the BOOTH-GP door has been cycle tested for 200,000 operations and is manufactured to the ISO9001 Quality Assurance Standard.

Door Leaf- Type A

45mm thick, constructed from two skins of galvanized or stainless steel bonded to a structural honeycomb core.

The vertical edges of the skins are folded to create a full height, bevelled edge with interlocking seam for increased panel strength and rigidity.

The void between the two skins is in-filled with a bonded honeycomb core material, selected for its compression & torsional load performance.

The hinging edge is reinforced by steel hinge mounting plates welded within the leaf, and the lock mechanism is installed within an inner enclosure to facilitate is removal for future maintenance or replacement.

On externally located double doors an astragal is fitted to one leaf to ensure positive sealing at the centre.

Door Frame

Galvanized steel folded to form a double or single rebate profile.

Frame sections are pressed from galvanized steel to form a double (standard) or single rebate profile. Headers are profiled to form a smooth, butt joint with the full height vertical posts and headers include bolt fixing for positive engagement.

Uprights are reinforced with steel plates at all hinge & lock points.

Shallow depth thresholds are available at extra cost, either as folded steel or extruded aluminium sections

Frames are arranged for bolt fixing to any suitable opening structure.
