Booth Industries Expands UK Manufacturing Base

Booth is a key designer and constructor of specialist doors, high performance modular wall systems and windows. Satisfying an increasing worldwide demand for its products and services Booth has increased its manufacturing capabilities in the UK by the acquisition of additional facilities close to its main plant at Bolton, North West England.

Staff levels have also been increased by 20% and one of the challenges faced by the company is the recruitment of additional skilled engineers, particularly with structural steelwork design and fabrication experience.

Significant international expertise has been developed by Booth in recent times for the application of its high integrity products and systems.  Our products are used within critical areas of the offshore oil and gas industries, petrochemical and pharmaceutical plants, military and governmental installations and infrastructure projects.

Recent contract awards will involve Booth providing solutions to hazardous and complex situations in the UK, Norway, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Russia, India, Kuwait, Australia, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Netherlands, Korea, Canada, France and other regions. (Over 70% of the company’s annual turnover is supplied directly to international customers).

Workshop areas now total 8000m2 whilst design, engineering and administration are located at the Booth Nelson Street Plant within a 650m2 office complex.

Booth Industries operate a quality system in accordance with the requirements of BS EN ISO 9001, together with the provision of adequate resources and training. The system is third party assessed by Loss Prevention Certification Board Limited under its NACCB Accreditation to ensure the compliance with the Clients technical specification and products standards.
